As well as developing generic equipment for research and development, Protensive can provide research and development services for industrial clients looking to explore new process opportunities. Our staff have a wealth of experience in the area of process intensification as well as a varied background in the process industries, from polymers to particles, from chemicals to consulting. With this we can offer the best solution to clients needs, whether it be advice on equipment selection, design and operation or developing collaborative research and scale-up with partners.
Partnering
Protensive is working in collaboration with a number of industrial and academic organisations across a range of applications. With these organisations we are developing process intensification solutions for the chemical, plastics, pharmaceutical, energy and waste water treatment sectors as well as looking into niche and emerging markets. Our staff are always happy to talk to new potential partners to identify potential PI applications within their organisation and assist them in developing projects and processes.
Resources
Protensive has laboratory scale experimental facilities at the Centre for Life in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. These faciliites are capable of supporting client trials using our in-house designed intensification equipment and general laboratory equipment.
